Delta Force that rears its head

The delta force franchise was created by Novalogic studio. Which started in 1985 in California, USA.

In 01^st October 1998, Delta force was released for pc as a tactical first person shooter game. After this several other games were created, the turning point of delta force was released in 2003, delta force black hawk down became world famous. This was based on the book of black hawk down written by mark Bowden in 1999. The famous battle of Mogadishu in 1993 between America and somali national front, which is engaged in operations in Somalia, which is defeated in 1980, was based on this work.

Also in 2003, Novalogic was sued for using crack version software and had to pay $1500,000 as compensation to Microsoft, adobe, file maker, Autodesk. Later in 2016, all remaining intellectual and physical properties of Novalogic were sold out to THQ Nordic, an Australian video game publishing company.

In 2020, They handed over the rights to develop delta force game to Chinese video game company called Tencent. The delta force taken over by Tencent is assigned to the Timi group under it for the purpose of giving back to the delta force. As a result of that DELTA FORCE HAWK OPS was introduced as a new game of Delta Force Franchise at the opening night live event of games com in 2023. However, official released date has not been announced yet.
